My Prayer...for her....

God bless America again

You see all the trouble that she's in

Wash her pretty face, dry her eyes

and then God bless America again

Dear God, I sure do wish you could bless America again

Well, you know, just like they did way back when it all began you know,

you surely blessed it once and we just took it for granted and never bothered to ask again

So just hold her hand God,

that's all And if she should stumble,

Please don't let her fall God bless America again

You see all the trouble that she's in

Wash her pretty face, dry her eyes and then God bless America again

You know God,

Theres so much I don't understand

About what I read and hear is wrong in America

But I suppose if you don't have a lot of learnin'

There's so much you can't undertand

Ahh but let me say this God

she's like a mother to me

And everything I am or ever hope to be

I owe it to You and to her .

I thought about our great country, this America....that I love...and all the pain that she has felt as of late.

I've thought about the missing children ...those found dead and alive...

I've thought about the families of those missing women who were found in an evil mans home...dead

I've thought about the shooting on a military base of soldiers and those who weren't...hurt and dead

I've thought about those who went to work this morning and who didn't come home or are in a hospital because of a disgrunted ex-employee

I've thought of all the mothers, the fathers, the brothers and sisters and the wives, husbands and children of all of them that were personally affected due to the terrible things that have happened this week....

I've asked myself what is wrong , what is happening, why is it happening?

I've wiped tears from my eyes as I've watched it unfold on the news.

AND....

THEN....

I asked myself..."Why aren't you praying for this country that you love?"

AND SO I DID!!!!
